The Story

An Equinox Tale is the story of Art Gardner, an inquisitive and open minded young man, who follows his call to adventure. What he discovers is a whole world that he never imagined, yet existed all along. Through wonder, open heartedness, and the pursuit of humble truth, Art receives tremendous gifts, and the calling to bring those gifts to others.

An Equinox Tale is the story of our own connections to each other and to the natural world. It is the story of recognizing these relationships – how we depend on them to live rich lives, and how they must be protected. It is the story of the opportunity each of us has to nurture our world and give the gifts of ourselves to each other.

The Poetry

The poetic story of An Equinox Tale is written for ears and hearts of all ages.

This is a story that elders may resonate with, having seen and appreciated the gifts of nature slowly vanishing. This is a story that young adults might find eye opening, during a time that they themselves search for meaning and their own call to adventure. This is also a story in which children may find magic and hope, and in which their parents might plant the seeds of a life attuned to the gifts that human connection and nature provide us.

The Art

This story is illustrated by the incredibly talented A. Len Bell. It includes over 35 hand painted plates, overflowing with detail, hidden meaning, foreshadow, and artistic inspiration. Each time you turn these pages, you fill find a new hidden detail you had not noticed before, that will deepen your connection with these incredible pieces of art and the story that they bring to life.

The Book

We wish to create a book that this story deserves. It will include full color pages, with incredibly detailed, mesmerizingly unique watercolor images by artist A. Len Bell, that tell the story of Art Gardner as told through the rhyme and verse of J. Scott Eutsler.

Currently, we are aiming to produce a large format coffee table book. A conversation piece, a stunning gift, a work of art that you will be proud to have in your home and share with others.
